About Us

Our journey began in 1994 on a small farm in Balasore district, Odisha. Today, under the exceptional leadership of Mr. Himanshu Kumar Das, we have evolved into Hari Marine Pvt. Ltd. (formerly known as SR Aqua Products). Our unwavering commitment to quality has driven significant growth—expanding from an initial 20 hectares to an impressive 36 hectares.

Now led by the visionary Mr. Sangram Das, we have achieved unparalleled success, supported by a dedicated team of skilled professionals who have been with us since the very beginning.

Our Story & Evolution

In the early 1990s, SR Aqua began with a strong emphasis on organic and bio-fertilizers. Between 1997 and 2015, we extended our expertise to help fellow farmers by providing consultancy, quality feeds, and sustainable aquaculture guidelines.

Our Operations & Impact

  • CAA-Approved Projects – SR Aqua established two Coastal Aquaculture Authority (CAA) approved projects, specializing in healthy, antibiotic-free prawns while strictly adhering to government guidelines.

  • Feed Distribution – We distributed prawn feed manufactured by CP Aqua.

  • Contract Farming – Through contract farming, we supported small and marginal farmers across Odisha and West Bengal, covering up to 350 acres.

  • Comprehensive Support – Our approach included the supply of feed, seed, probiotics, and professional supervision by our marine biologists. This guidance helped farmers achieve successful, bountiful harvests while securing fair market prices for their products.

A New Chapter Begins

We have recently embarked on an ambitious new venture: a Mega Marine Food Exports Processing Plant near Sergarh, Balasore.

This state-of-the-art facility will feature:

  • Annual processing capacity: Over 10,000 MT of prawns and shrimps

  • Cold storage capacity: 1,000 MT for finished goods

With this expansion, Hari Marine is poised to emerge as one of the leading exporters of high-quality seafood products in the coming years.
